Job Title: Project Director

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Director to lead the successful delivery of multiple high-value projects or a flagship scheme. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong commercial awareness, technical expertise in fit out and structural refurbishment, and the ability to manage large project teams while maintaining exceptional client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of projects from pre-construction through to completion
• Take ultimate responsibility for programme, cost, quality, and safety performance
• Manage and mentor Project Managers, Site Managers, and wider delivery teams
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
• Oversee procurement strategies and subcontractor performance
• Drive value engineering and risk management throughout the project
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and company standards
• Contribute to business development and support bid/tender processes where required

Requirements

• Proven experience operating as a Project Director or Senior Project Manager within a main contractor
• Strong background in commercial fit out and cut & carve/refurbishment projects
• Track record of delivering projects up to £40m in value
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness
• Ability to manage multiple projects or complex phased schemes
