Contract Opportunity – Project Director (London)

Location: London (On-site with some hybrid flexibility)

Contract: 12 months+ (potential extension)

Day Rate: Highly Competitive (Inside / Outside IR35 – depending on role)

We’re partnering with a leading construction and property consultancy overseeing major commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments across London. They are seeking an accomplished Project Director to take full responsibility for the successful delivery of high-value, complex projects.

Role Overview

As Project Director, you will:

Provide strategic leadership across all project phases, from planning to completion. Manage multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality targets are met. Oversee contractor selection, procurement, and contract management. Maintain strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact. Drive risk management, change control, and programme optimisation.

Requirements

Extensive experience delivering large-scale construction projects (£50m+). Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills at senior level. Proven track record in complex commercial or mixed-use developments. Chartered status (RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) . Available to start at short notice.
