Project Director\n £110,000 - £130,000 + Package\n Cambridge\n Life Sciences & RC Structures | £100m+ Project\n\nPSR Solutions are working in partnership with a leading Tier 1 main contractor to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager or Project Director for a flagship £100m+ life sciences development in Cambridge.\n\nThis is a technically complex, high-profile scheme featuring substantial reinforced concrete structures, specialist laboratory environments, and stringent quality and compliance requirements. The project is at a critical stage and requires a proven leader capable of driving delivery excellence from site.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, leading large multidisciplinary teams and working closely with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners. Depending on experience, the role will be appointed at Project Director level.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nFull ownership of programme, cost, quality, and safety outcomes\n\nLeadership and development of a large site and project management team\n\nManaging complex RC and life sciences construction methodologies\n\nClient-facing role, ensuring strong stakeholder relationships\n\nStrategic planning, risk management, and commercial oversight\n\nEnsuring compliance with health & safety, quality, and regulatory standards\n\nAbout You\n\nProven experience delivering large-scale (£50m+) projects, ideally £100m+\n\nStrong background in RC frame construction and complex building projects\n\nPrevious experience in life sciences, healthcare, or highly regulated environments is highly desirable\n\nComfortable operating at SPM or PD level on major schemes\n\nExcellent leadership, communication, and client management skills\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\nSalary: £110,000 - £130,000, dependent on experience\n\nAttractive benefits package\n\nOpportunity to lead a landmark life sciences project in one of the UK's strongest construction markets\n\nLong-term career progression with a contractor known for delivering complex, high-value projects\n\nFor more information or a confidential discussion, please contact PSR Solutions
