Job Description

Salter Grange is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Director to lead a high-profile data centre project in Central Europe. As a Project Director, you will oversee the delivery of complex data centre projects for blue-chip clients, supported by a strong Senior Operations team. Operating across the UK and Europe, our client is a trusted name in data centre construction with a turnover exceeding £3 billion and a robust project pipeline extending to 2028.

Project Director Responsibilities:

Drive effective client relationship management to ensure project success. Develop a deep understanding of project strategies and future pipeline. Oversee operational aspects of the tender process. Facilitate seamless communication between head office and project sites to promote continuous improvement. Lead comprehensive training programs to enhance team performance and proficiency. Provide inspirational leadership to motivate project teams. Manage budgets and costs in alignment with project planning. Act as a key liaison to senior management and the board, delivering regular project updates. Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate project performance. Oversee implementation of new policies and procedures. Conduct internal contract reviews with legal teams, ensuring key personnel's attendance. Take charge of overall project operations, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and environmental objectives. Implement effective management systems, with a focus on subcontractor management.

Project Director Requirements:

Extensive experience in general contracting/main contracting, with a proven track record in data centre, industrial, or mission-critical projects from start to finish. Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
