Job Description

We are seeking Project Controls professionals with a Defence background to join our Defence sector. The role involves managing project controls for infrastructure projects in the North West, including monitoring plans, costs, safety, environment, and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Review new project proposals and develop realistic, resourceable plans for delivery.
• Identify resourcing needs and liaise with planning teams to resolve issues.
• Provide daily support to Programme and Project Managers on plans, costs, safety, and performance.
• Ensure data input meets standards in cost and performance systems.
• Manage the production of Investment Plans and comply with the Investment Competence Framework.

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant technical or management field or equivalent experience.
• Membership of a professional body such as APM or PMI.
• Ability to make risk-based decisions in uncertain parameters.
• Flexible leadership style adaptable to different audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools.

Working Arrangements

We support hybrid working to help employees balance work and life. Typically, you will spend about 60% of your time on client sites or at our offices, depending on business needs.
