ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Programme Tutor in Uniformed Public Services and Sport, you will deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment that enables students to achieve their full potential. You'll create an inclusive, engaging environment, supporting a diverse range of learners and preparing them for progression into further study or employment.
Interviews for this role are planned for week commencing Monday 18th May.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you will:
Deliver engaging teaching, learning, and assessment in line with curriculum requirements
Plan inclusive lessons that meet a range of learner needs, including SEND
Monitor student progress, attendance, and engagement, taking appropriate action
Provide timely and constructive feedback to support achievement
Work collaboratively with colleagues and support teams to enhance learner outcomes
Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
A recognised teaching qualification (Level 5 or above)
Relevant vocational qualification (Level 3 or above) with industry experience
Experience working with young people in an educational setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that supports learner progress
