Robert Half is recruiting for a Senior Programme Manager Role for a 12 Month contract.

LENGTH: 12 Months outside IR35

LOCATION: Hybrid - London office 2 days minimum

PAY: Outside IR35

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-profile, multi-year transformation programme that will shape the future of the organisation. The programme brings together several strategic priorities, including organisational development, programme growth, and a property redevelopment.

You will play a central role in ensuring these interconnected workstreams are aligned, well-governed, and delivered successfully.

Key responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex transformation programme, ensuring alignment to strategic goals and funding milestones Develop and maintain an integrated programme plan across multiple workstreams Establish effective governance structures and reporting processes Manage risks, dependencies, and change across the programme lifecycle Provide clear and insightful reporting to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders Coordinate delivery across key areas including organisational governance, programme development, and a major capital project Support strategic decision-making through high-quality analysis and stakeholder engagement

Key workstreams

Organisational development: Supporting the review and enhancement of governance structures and decision-making processes Programme growth: Enabling the expansion of education initiatives and the launch of new programme offerings Capital project: Overseeing delivery of a significant refurbishment project, ensuring alignment with future operational needs

About you

Proven experience delivering complex, multi-workstream transformation programmes Strong understanding of governance frameworks and working with senior stakeholders or boards Experience managing risk, performance, and programme reporting Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment Comfortable working across different functions and building strong relationships

Desirable experience

Experience within a charity, public sector, or regulated environment Exposure to governance reviews or structural change Experience working on capital or property-related projects Familiarity with grant-funded programmes and milestone reporting
