Role Title: Program Manager – Community Delivery Program (FTC) Location: London, UK Estimated start date: 12 January 2026 Estimated end date: 30 September 2026 Working hours: 40 hrs/wk Job Description Clients Community Delivery program empowers delivery partners to create meaningful impact in their community. Through this program, delivery partners deliver meals and supplies from food banks and other, local non-profit organisations to those in need. As we expand this program across the United Kingdom, we're seeking a Program Manager to drive the expansion and operational excellence of the programme. This fixed-term contract role will be instrumental in scaling our charitable partnerships and ensuring seamless delivery operations across community organizations. Key Responsibilities Include: Partnership Development & Scaling · Source and identify new charity partners aligned with Community Delivery programme objectives · Build and maintain a pipeline of potential charitable organisations, including proactive outreach · Conduct partnership assessments to evaluate operational readiness and strategic fit · Drive programme scale through partner acquisition Onboarding · Manage end-to-end onboarding process for new charity partners · Develop and deliver training materials and operational guidance · Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding and integration Operational Excellence · Partner with operations teams to provide on-the-ground support for charity partners · Identify and resolve operational challenges impacting delivery performance · Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance partner experience Metrics & Reporting · Define and track performance for Community Delivery programme, including preparing regular reports · Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement Story Behind the Need – Business Group & Key Projects Client's Mile Delivery organisation, operates the Community Delivery program which enables delivery partners to support their local communities by delivering essential items from food banks and non-profit organisations to those in need. The UK Flex Operations team currently manages the Community Delivery program. Key projects include program expansion, implementation of operating procedures, delivery partner experience improvement initiatives, and operational readiness for new site launches. This role will lead the successful execution of Community Delivery operations while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, cost and delivery partner experience. The successful candidate will manage relationships with charity partners and oversee all under-the-roof operations to ensure smooth program delivery. This role will provide updates with Senior Leadership on the status of the program. The role combines data-driven decision making with strategic program management: · Conduct partner evaluations for new launches · Lead operational readiness reviews for new launches · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements based on metrics and insights · Review and analyse operational metrics and DP feedback weekly · Visit sites to monitor operations and gather feedback This unique role combines clients operational excellence with meaningful social impact. You'll lead the expansion of an innovative program, while developing expertise in last-mile logistics and stakeholder management. This role will give you experience in scaling programs while making a tangible difference in people's lives. Ideal candidate is: Strong in written and spoken communication Able to use excel for data analysis through functions, such as vlookup Able to gather and analyse data to figure out outliers and trends Clients leadership principles that candidates would need to be able to demonstrate Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardisation Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organisation Top 3 must-have skills 1 At least 2 years of experience in project, program management, working cross-functionally 2 Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL 3 Experience in using data and metrics to determine improvements
