Experienced Production Team required for Global Manufacturer based at their site in Truro. Reporting to the South West Regional MD, the successful candidate will be required to effectively lead and manage production, quality and logistics activities to ensure that a high level of service is achieved, whilst attaining high levels of productivity and quality. The role is semi-autonomous and will have responsibility for the operation of the site. Key Responsibilities: Ensure that all employees working on site are aware and compliant with all Health & Safety issues relevant to their role and responsibilities, and have been issued with and use the correct PPE. Monitor and control safe systems of work ensuring full compliance with health & safety and environmental requirements in relation to all operations. Develop and maintain individual employee skills matrices and individual development plans. Develop, manage and monitor production plans and ensure targets are on schedule. Manage the deployment of resources and scheduling of work to ensure that production plans are achieved within agreed timescale.
