We are currently seeking a Production Team Leader to join our outstanding quality management team based onsite at one of our most prestigious automotive OEM's. Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Team Leader, will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of between 5 - 10 inspectors, which can increase during peak times. You will work along-side management to successfully organise and lead the hour-to-hour function of designated projects within associated G&P areas.

Working hours rotate on a weekly basis: Mornings Mon-Thurs 6:00am-14:00pm Fri 06:00am

12:00pm Afternoon Mon-Thurs 14:00pm-22:00pm Fri 12:00pm

18:00pm Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Leading and coaching a team of quality professionals Reviewing handover from previous shift and assigning tasks to the Quality Inspectors and Storemen in accordance. Ensuring all inspectors have the relevant tooling, material flow, PPE and understanding to work to the required Test Plan / WES. Controlling all NOK parts found during the project, ensuring the packaging and stacking of parts are correct. Working alongside the area supervisor to identify and promptly resolve issues, with minimal or no effect to production. Supporting on the set up of new projects Leading from the front by carrying out inspection duties alongside the team as and when required.

The ideal team leader will have the following experience: Proven leadership skills gained within an Automotive, Manufacturing, Production or Engineering environment. Computer literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent communication skills Ability to resolve issues promptly, within a professional manner. Organised, resilient, with the ability to think outside the box. Due to the location, you must have access to your own vehicle. Due to the nature of the role, heavy lifting will be required at times, so you must be comfortable with this.
