Production Support Engineer\nSector - Rail Freight Wagons\nWorking with a truly global business, a major employer and a leader in their sector.\nPermanent post paying up to £50,000 + car allowance and benefits package\nBased in the East Midlands Junction 25 M1 (Nottinghamshire / Derbyshire border) with regional remit and very occasional travel further afield\nHybrid working - from home and as above\nDepartment: Production Report to the Engineering Manager\n\nFunction: Asset Management & Maintenance - Engineering\n\nPurpose\nProvide technical support and expertise for Asset Management & Maintenance organisation in relation to Maintenance of the wagon fleet.\nPrinciple Accountabilities\n* Wagon technical specifications review/\n* Maintenance Plans & Overhaul Instructions\n* Wagon Reliability & Performance\n* Corrective action generated improvements\n* Lead/Participate in Engineering Investigations\n* Disposals advice\n* , management and support of Special Checks\n* Vehicle technical inspections and reports\n* Dispensation responsibility whilst observing M&O policy\n* Experiential based review of maintenance facilities\n* ECM2 audit checks\n* Lead/Co-ordinate/Collaborate with cross functional departments (Procurement, Production, Planning, Safety). \n* On/Off hire inspections\nExperience\n* Experience working in the railway industry, preferably educated to degree level\n* Railway Standards Knowledge\n* Experience in Vehicle Maintenance Schedules and Maintenance Plans\nSpecific Post Qualifications and accreditations\n\nIf of interest please feel free to call me on (phone number removed) or email your CV directly to (url removed)
