Flexsource NI are currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor on a permanent full time basis Responsibilities: *Supervise and lead a team of 15 staff across various disciplines, including welding, painting, and assembly *Plan and coordinate the production workflow to ensure smooth and efficient operations *Monitor and ensure production deadlines are consistently met across all stages *Oversee and uphold high standards of quality throughout the production process *Conduct daily production meetings to align team objectives and resolve operational challenges *Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles *Coach, mentor, and support the development of team members to enhance skills and performance *Collaborate with engineering, quality, and logistics teams to ensure seamless cross-functional operations *Track key production metrics (e.g. output, downtime, defects) and provide regular performance updates *Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to all health and safety regulations Requirements: *Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Production Supervisor, with experience in planning, meeting deadlines and quality control checks *Previous experience within the engineering industry, ideally with commercial vehicles *Previous hands on experience, for example as a commercial fitter or welder *Experience in Lean Manufacturing principles would be advantageous *A forklift licensee would be advantageous For you: *Salary of around £40k, depending on experience *4 day working week (Monday Thursday) *Overtime opportunities *Free onsite parking Apply today or for more information on this role, contact Ciaran at Flexsource NI on
