Production Supervisor Bury St EdmundsMy client are looking for a Production Supervisor. This is a full-time opportunity, working onsite in their site just outside Bury St Edmunds. They are looking for someone with experience working in a high output production environment. The company has very strong staff retention and tenure of service which speaks to the pleasant working environment and development opportunity.Responsibilities:+ Oversee and manage all technical aspects of the Lathe Area, including responsibility for all lathe machines and associated ancillary equipment.+ Troubleshoot and resolve component machining issues in collaboration with the Lathe team to ensure efficient production.+ Work closely with the Lathe Area Production Supervisor to support, motivate, and drive the department in achieving output and performance targets.+ Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives, providing recommendations where feasible.Experience Required:+ Technically sounds experience operating some of the following: lathe machines, ancillary equipment, CNC Machines+ Experience working as part of a 24/7 production environment+ Experience working in a high output production environment+ Ability to sold technical issues, utilising your mechanical knowledge+ Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001:2015)Location:Bury St EdmundsSalary:Up to £50kIf you feel have the relevant skills, please apply with an updated copy of your CV.JBRP1_UKTJ
