Are you an experienced Production Supervisor looking to take the next step in your career within a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

Impact are partnered with a well-established engineering business in Daventry who pride themselves on delivering high-quality products to their customers. They are now looking for a proactive and hands-on Production Supervisor to join the team on a 3-month FTC.

This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of production, ensuring targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am - 4pm

Location: Daventry

Pay: £35,000

Contract: 3-month FTC

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the shopfloor
• Ensure all staff are equipped with works orders, SOPs, and required resources
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment at all times
• Allocate labour and resources to meet production plans and targets
• Monitor team performance to ensure efficiency and productivity
• Ensure all products are correctly identified and located on the shopfloor
• Conduct stock checks and monitor production indicators
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve production and planning issues
• Work closely with operatives to support output and quality standards
• Challenge non-conformance and implement corrective actions
• Report machinery breakdowns and liaise with maintenance teams
• Drive continuous improvement across processes and productivity
• Ensure dispatch deadlines and internal delivery processes are met
• Promote high standards of behaviour and performance across the team

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing
• Background in high-volume production environments (automotive preferred)
• Experience managing teams and driving performance
• Understanding of health & safety and operational compliance
• IT literate with the ability to manage basic systems and reporting
