We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure production processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, while managing a team of production staff.

First line Supervisor responsible for leading teams in the High Risk & Despatch areas to produce our outstanding quality of the products ensuring compliance with standards and policies while always pursuing and promoting continuous improvement.

Location:Bristol, BS10 ( Brentry)

Hours:Monday to Thursday 1200-2100

Pay:£15.50 per hour plus holiday pay

Main Duties:

  • Schedule and organise staffing to deliver on planned production volumes
  • Responsible for the operational performance in your area by ensuring the production plan is attained in the time and costs targets while maintaining high quality standards
  • Motivate and develop team members to ensure processes are followed and maximise performance
  • Ensuring a safe working environment for all
  • Responsible for the traceability of the products within your area (use of raw material, semi-finished goods and waste)

You will be responsible for:

  • People
  • Machinery/ Equipment, including but not limited to: packing machine, metal detector, ovens, chillers, fridges , packing line, dispatch area, trays and packaging
  • Understand the risks associated with the area within which you work and the equipment that you work with.
  • Ensure all accidents & near misses are reported to a manager.
  • Support the senior management team in efforts to improve site safety by highlighting areas for improvement.

  • To have good understanding of the manufacturing process & performance in terms of efficiency, quality, materials & equipment.
