We are looking for a Production Planner in Blackburn. Please note this contract is for fixed 6 months

Working on a bespoke computerised system, the role requires liaising between internal sales, purchasing, warehouse and shop floor personnel to ensure orders are efficiently and effectively expedited. The planner is responsible for balancing stocks and orders through a large number of independent machines, and maximising customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have: Previous planning experience Accuracy Excellent organisational skills Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business Good interpersonal skills Computer literacy skills

Duties include, but not limited to : Running a requirement report & deciding what needs to be made Raising works orders onto the system and assigning them to a machine Issuing daily shortage reports Issuing daily planning requirements reports for the coming up shifts Issuing planning requirements reports for the weekend shift Creating & issuing a weekly tool change plan
