Production Planner / Scheduler

A well-established & growing manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join their Operations team based in St Leonards on Sea.

The Role
You’ll manage production schedules across machining & assembly operations, ensuring materials, capacity, and resources are aligned to meet customer demand.

Create & maintain production schedules across multiple machines/work centres
Allocate work based on capacity, machine availability, and deadlines
Manage MRP and monitor open order books
Raise and track purchase orders for materials and subcontract processes
Monitor supplier delivery performance and material availability
Communicate schedule changes and escalate delivery risks
The Person

Experience in production planning/scheduling within manufacturing
Strong understanding of MRP and production workflows
Confident using ERP systems & Excel
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Proactive & a strong communicator
The Package

Full time, permanent opportunity
Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm with a 1pm finish on a Friday!
£30,000 - £35,000pa DOE
