Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join their growing team in Cambridge. This role requires a keen individual with a strong background in Manufacturing industry. Client Details Our client is a reputable large organisation within the Manufacturing industry. With a strong presence they have a commitment to innovation and excellence in there sector. Description Operate machinery and equipment to meet production requirements. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery. Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals including completing all related documentation accurately and provide suitable handover to on-coming shifts. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Report any issues or anomalies in the production process. Setting up batches, checking, weighing and adding materials, and physically moving batch materials where required. Report plant maintenance work requirements to minimise downtime and cost. Keep workstation clean, tidy and organised in line with the 5S approach.Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts. 6am-2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10- 6am rotating weekly, for which you will receive a shift premium. Profile A successful Production Operator/Operative/Team Leader should have: A strong background in a manufacturing process environment Proven experience in a similar role. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality Computer literate. This role is physically demanding requiring a certain amount of manual handling and ability to carry/lift variety of items. Awareness and understanding of Health & Safety.
