Production Operator

Area: Ellesmere Port
Shift System: 6am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm (Monday to Friday)
Rate: £13.41 per hour.
Our client has full time, permanent opportunities to join their large manufacturing plant in Ellesmere Port.
Our Client is a long established manufacturer who are now at the forefront of their industry. Their products are sold around the world to enable green energy production.
Purpose & Main Requirements
To produce orders utilising equipment within the manufacturing facility Maintain traceability to ensure product quality. Maintain a clean operating environment and assist in ensuring equipment is kept in good condition.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience of working in a manufacturing environment Most importantly successful candidates must have an excellent appreciation of the importance of working to the utmost standards of Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety stewardship.
Candidates must have good communication skills. The ability to comprehend and adhere to operating instructions, both written and verbal, is essential.
Full training within their industry will be given
Principal Accountabilities
Operate plant and equipment to achieve targeted levels of production in accordance with good operational practice.This will include following Standard Operating Procedures where appropriate.Maintain relevant production log to include all required processing data.
To closely monitor the product during operation and accurately record process data.
Ensure that finished product is packaged neatly and labelled correctly regarding product type and customers order where appropriate.
Must be aware of and comply with the Groups Health & Safety Policy.This will include the use of protective equipment and clothing when required.
Undertake other activities as required by the Production Supervisor.
