Job Title: Production OperativeLocation: ChinleySalary: £33,222.95 per yearJob type: Permanent, Full Time. 48 hours per week (Monday - Thursday) We're looking for a reliable and practicle Production Operative to support the operations of our VA production plant. This is a hands-on role involving setting up plant and machinery, handling raw materials, packing finished product, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.Company Information:Alphagary is part of the Orbia Group - a community of companies working together to tackle some of the world's most complex challenges. Alphagary also formulates stabilisers, plasticisers and colorants designed for use in vinyl compounds.Our Company values are Be Brave; Take Responsibility and Embrace Diversity.Key Responsibilities:Setting up and preparing machinery for production runsMeasuring out raw materials accuratelyLoading these materials into hoppers for mixing (this requires lifting up to 25kg)Setting and monitoring the machines to ensure the raw materials are mixed to the correct customer quality specificationCarrying out in-process quality checks and recording resultsPackaging and storing finished products correctlyAdhering to Health & Safety and Quality standardsCleaning plant, machinery and works areasCarrying out minor maintenance tasks where requiredRemoving waste and packaging from the plantOperating FLT safely to transport raw materials, packaging, finished goods etc around the siteKnowledge / Experience / Skills Required:Previous production/manufacturing experience or similar experienceHold an FLT licence (if not - full training will be provided)Basic knowledge of Health & Safety and Quality standardsHave the ability to work as a member of a teamHave a eye for detail and the ability to use your initiativeBasic problem solvingComputer literateIf you feel you have the relevant knowledge, experience & skills, and are interested in this role, please apply with your CV by no later than Friday 12th May 2026.Candidates with experience of: Manufacturing Operator, Process Operator, Production Operator, Operator, Process Plant Operative, Production Operator, Manufacturing Operative, may also be considered for this role.JBRP1_UKTJ
