Are you a Production Operative looking for a new role? Our client is a well‑established manufacturer of kitchens and furniture.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Production Operative, responsible for carrying out hands‑on tasks along the production line with a high level of dexterity. The role involves ensuring products meet specification requirements, operating and troubleshooting production machinery, and carrying out minor repairs where required.

Shifts: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm & 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm (Rotating Weekly)

Role responsibilities
Perform day-to-day manual tasks according to the current standardised operating procedures
Checking the quality of the product at each stage. Make adjustments as necessary to produce products that reach customer satisfaction. Reject product outside of specification.
Complete any daily logs as required
Ensure clean work areas at all times
Perform preventative maintenance on production line machinery if required
Communicate with other operatives from other shifts
Look for continuous improvement opportunities
Assist engineers in the repair of machinery if required
Responsible for inventory control in your area on the line
