The Role
Are you looking for a hands-on role where precision and quality truly matter? As a Production Operative, you won’t just be "building boards"—you’ll be assembling, soldering, and testing critical components for the Aerospace, Medical, and Defence sectors.
Working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, you will use a mix of traditional manual techniques and cutting-edge automated equipment to ensure every product meets the highest industry standards.
Your Responsibilities
* Precision Assembly: Build PCBs and electronic units following detailed work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Technical Soldering: Perform hand soldering to IPC standards. Not an expert yet? We provide the training to get you there.
* Quality Control: Clean PCBs post-soldering using approved materials and run essential tests to ensure 100% functionality.
* Equipment Operation: Manage and monitor semi-automated production machinery to keep the line moving efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
* The Experience: A background in manufacturing, assembly, or a similar production environment.
* The Mindset: A sharp eye for detail and a genuine pride in the quality of your output.
* The Skills: Excellent manual dexterity—you’ll be working with small, delicate components where "steady hands" are a must.
* The Attitude: A team player who is happy to hit individual targets but also willing to jump in and support other areas when needed.
