Description
Plan and manage materials to ensure production schedules are met efficiently.
Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
Monitor production workflows and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address production and supply challenges.
Analyse data to forecast material requirements and minimise waste.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards for procurement and supply chain.
Identify and implement process improvements within planning operations.
Support inventory management and reporting processes.Profile
A successful Production & Materials Planner should have:
Experience in material planning and production planning within a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical skills to forecast and manage stock levels effectively.
Proficiency in relevant planning software and tools.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
A detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in planning and reporting.
An understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
