A growing food manufacturer is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager to support high-performing production operations at their state-of-the-art facility near Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious manufacturing professional looking to step into a leadership role within a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.\nOn Offer:\n * Salary will be circa £45,000 - £50,000 doe\n * Monday - Friday: 6am - 3pm.\n * Pension\nKey Responsibilities\n * Oversee production performance to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.\n * Plan, allocate, and manage manpower effectively across all production lines.\n * Technical and Audit accountability and full knowledge of BRCGS audit protocol\n * Hands on and sleeves up approach, this is not a sit behind a desk role and 80% of the shift is factory floor based\n * Coordinate with engineering and QA to minimise downtime and maintain product quality.\n * Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, waste reduction, and resource utilisation.\n * Enforce food safety, GMP, HACCP, hygiene, and general safety standards.\n * Conduct routine safety checks and ensure timely corrective actions.\nCandidate requirements\n * Relevant tertiary qualification\n * At least 5 years’ experience in a Food manufacturing environment, in a leadership role.\n * Proven experience in production reporting, team leadership, and manpower management.\n * Solid understanding of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.\n * Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership capability.\nIf you would like to learn more about this opportunity, please apply with your most recent up to date CV or contact, Will Reeve at Alexander Steele Recruitment
