Temporary Production & Glazing Operative – B11 Area, Birmingham Pay: £13.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 4:30pm / Friday 7:30-13:30 Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Pertemps is looking for a Production & Glazing Operative, manufacturing company established in 1979, specialising in high-quality canal boat windows. Manufacture bespoke aluminium windows and also offer installation services to private boat owners.

The Role

Seeking a reliable and flexible temporary team member to join our production and glazing team. This role is to cover a period of long-term sickness for an existing employee.

The position is offered on a temporary basis, however there is potential for the role to become permanent, depending on business requirements and the long-term situation.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, pays close attention to detail, and is happy to support multiple areas within a small, busy team.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Making and assembling double glazed units to order specification (experience desirable). Washing, handling, and quality checking glass, including shaped units.
