Production Engineer, £35,000 £45,000,4-day week,Leicester £35,000 to £45,000 salary guide (depending on experience) + company pension + 25 days holiday Permanent, days. 35-hour week, Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 17.15pm Well-established manufacturing business focused on relatively low volume, high-quality, precision-engineered components for aerospace, automotive and industrial applications. Are you a Production Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer with experience improving processes, supporting production and driving continuous improvement within a machining or assembly environment? Your background as aProduction Engineer: Degree-qualified or HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Production or similar. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, jigs & fixtures and production equipment. Ideally, experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement activities. Confident interpreting engineering drawings and working cross-functionally with design, production and quality teams. We are happy for people to pivot into this role who are 3-5 years into their engineering career.
