An established engineering and specialist manufacturing business based in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Production Controller to join their growing operations team. The company delivers complex fabrication, welding and engineering services to clients across the energy and industrial sectors, operating from a well-equipped manufacturing facility in the east end of the city. This is a key position within the business, working closely with the General Manager, shop floor teams and welding engineers to coordinate production activities and ensure efficient workflow across the facility. The Role Key responsibilities will include: Producing shop floor travellers and route cards for manufacturing Managing production planning and scheduling Coordinating workflow across the shop floor Arranging and managing sub-contract operations Monitoring production efficiency and output rates Maintaining stock control and supporting month-end processes Addressing production issues and improving operational flow Ensuring health & safety compliance across production activities The role requires close collaboration with production teams to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to required standards.
