Production Assembly Operative

Key Responsibilities
As a Production Assembly Operator, you will:
* Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies using hand tools
* Read and interpret assembly and work instructions
* Perform quality checks to ensure all products meet company standards
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
* Work collaboratively to achieve production targets
* Stamp parts using machinery
* Measure and cut materials to tight tolerances using cutting equipment
* Flush components with lubricants or pellets
* Tape and bag finished products ready for dispatch
About You
To be successful as a Production Assembly Operative, you should have:
* Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a similar production role
* Excellent attention to detail and good manual dexterity
* A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
* A basic understanding of health and safety practices in a production environment
Pay & Hours
Monday to Friday
Rotating shifts: 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00
Pay rate: £14.42 per hour, increasing to £15.60 per hour after 12 weeks
