Job Overview
The Product Support Specialist – Manual & Robotic provides clinical product support to end users and assists during Mako surgical procedures. The role involves promoting Stryker's Hip and Knee products to Orthopaedic Surgeons, optimizing customer service, and growing existing accounts through technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and technical support to surgeons and hospital staff before, during, and after surgeries involving robotic and manual procedures.
- Train and guide surgeons and hospital staff in the use of Stryker’s Mako robot, including setup, intra-operative activities, and troubleshooting.
- Assist in pre-operative planning, including implant sizing and positioning using proprietary software.
- Partner with Field Service team to resolve technical issues and ensure maintenance.
- Develop expertise in Stryker implants, instrumentation, and robotic applications.
- Educate staff on the benefits and best practices of robotic surgery.
- Complete necessary training and obtain certifications for robotic and manual procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, especially Lower Limb, Hips, and Knees, preferably from a Physiotherapy background.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Outgoing, persuasive, confident, and persistent.
- Patience, self-motivation, and strong planning skills.
- Ability to travel and hold a valid driving license.
- Experience in sales, customer service, or OR environment is advantageous.
