Job Description Job Title: Product Safety Engineer \n Location: Coventry – we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role. \n Salary: Competitive \n What you’ll be doing: \n\n Support peer reviews, checking, verification and assurance tasks to demonstrate the adequacy and robustness of the Safety Case and supporting documentation \n Assist in the production and management of Project Safety Management Plans \n Develop a clear understanding of the wider Safety Case, Quality and HS&E Management System \n Assist in the production, facilitation and recording of Product Safety hazard and risk identification, management and assessment activities \n Assist in the derivation and management of Product Safety requirements \n Assist in the production of training material to support training delivery \n Your skills and experiences: \n Essential: \n\n Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics (STEM) Degree or equivalent \n Awareness of the challenges posed by the environment that the product will be exposed to \n Desirable: \n\n Awareness of design, manufacturing, assembly, commissioning and testing submarines lifecycle phases \n Ability to interpret technical data \n Benefits \n As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted...
