Product Quality Engineer Bradford | £18.34 - £19.43 per hour (DOE) | Days | Permanent Are you an experienced Quality Engineer or Senior Inspector with strong CMM programming experience? This is a hands-on role within a well-established precision engineering business supplying into aerospace, motorsport, oil & gas and marine sectors . The Role You'll take a lead role within the quality function, ensuring the conformity of highly engineered components throughout the manufacturing process. This is a hands-on position , combining inspection, team leadership, and CMM programming. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate a small team of quality inspectors Manage batch, first-off and in-process inspection activities Program and operate CMM/GMM equipment (training available on specific systems) Evaluate inspection results and escalate non-conformances Carry out incoming, in-process and final inspection of precision components Use a wide range of inspection tools (micrometers, air gauges, height gauges, etc.) Support defect identification (MPI, ultrasonic testing, chemical etching, surface checks) Communicate quality issues effectively with production teams Maintain inspection records, docume...
