We are working with a fast-growing, purpose-led FMCG business who operate in close partnership with one of the UK’s top four grocery retailers to create exciting, high-quality products that consumers love.
Due to unprecedented success they are now looking for a Portfolio Manager – Grocery to lead the delivery of new product development and range evolution across this key retail account and others as they expand.
The role
This role sits within a central brand and portfolio team, at the heart of how innovation is delivered.
You’ll play a critical role in shaping and executing the product roadmap from early concept through to launch, ensuring new products and packaging land flawlessly in store.
Working cross-functionally across marketing, commercial, supply chain, and operations, you’ll bring clarity, structure, and momentum to complex projects while partnering closely with major UK grocery retailers.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of innovation and renovation projects across a major grocery portfolio
- Bring a multi-year brand and product strategy to life through compelling new products and packaging
- Manage timelines, dependencies, feasibility, and risk to ensure smooth project delivery
- Act as the central point of contact for cross-functional project teams
- Navigate challenges, resolve conflicts, and keep projects moving forward
- Provide clear updates, insights, and recommendations to senior stakeholders
What we’re looking for
- Experience delivering NPD or complex cross-functional projects from concept to launch
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams at once
- Confident stakeholder manager, ideally with exposure to major UK grocery retailers
- Ability to turn complexity into clear, confident recommendations
- A collaborative leadership style that brings teams together
- Good understanding of supply chains and FMCG operating models
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
