Insight Global is looking for a Product Owner to join one of their Banking clients for a Contract role. It is a hybrid position which is 4 days onsite in Manchester. Role Summary The Product Owner will identify business challenges and propose effective solutions, translating these into clear, actionable requirements for the engineering team. They will also gather and process large datasets from clients or external sources, integrate the information, and publish it for internal onboarding teams. Additionally, they will oversee the billing process to ensure all deliverables meet defined requirements. Key Responsibilities
Leads product development and strategy for large and/or complex products. Usually assigned to high-growth product area expectations and has fully developed core expertise in industry trends, market segments and competitor profiles. Directing the overall product strategy for the organization. Managing and leading the product management team. Collaborating with department heads to ensure product strategy alignment with company goals. Overseeing budgeting and resource allocation for product initiatives. Product launch and go-to-market strategy. Primary responsibilities include: Directing the overall product strategy for the organization. Using subject matter expertise, experience and thought leadership to influence and direct the product management team, key stakeholders and senior leaders. Collaborating with other department heads to ensure product strategy alignment with company goals. Overseeing budgeting and resource allocation for product initiatives.
Qualifications
End to end product manager/owner experience - ideally within financial services Domain knowledge: investment banking products OR client onboarding Experience with account opening using large datasets Experience collaborating with internal teams (e.g., Engineering, Design, Marketing) Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies Background in large or complex products, ideally within financial services Bachelor’s degree in a related field Demonstrated success in launching a software product or service
