Product Owner – HypaShip Greater London, England, United Kingdom Join HypaShip, a global leader in cloud‑based logistics solutions, as a Product Owner. Based in Greater London, you will lead the product vision for our end‑to‑end post, parcel and delivery platform. About the role Salary dependent on qualifications, skills and experience. Responsibilities
Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap. Own, manage and prioritise the product backlog. Work with stakeholders to analyse and identify business needs, problems, inefficiencies and opportunities. Make decisions on scope, priority and acceptance of work and refine solutions as needed. Use and apply analysis and modelling techniques to document clear business and technology requirements. Translate needs into structured requirements and user stories for developers, testers and project teams. Collaborate with senior business and IT stakeholders to test and validate that proposed solutions align with business objectives. Support testing and confirm that the final product meets requirements. Facilitate communication by acting as the link between technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Ensure delivered features meet user expectations and business goals. Balance customer value, business impact and technical constraints. Advise on business change priorities in the context of organisational strategy. Produce analysis artefacts throughout the business change lifecycle. Ensure continuous assessment of progress to specification and changes to requirements. Monitor product performance and collect feedback for continuous improvement. Required to travel locally and overseas.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a business‑related or technical field. Business Analysis professional certification (IIBA‑CBAP etc). 4+ years experience as a Business Analyst working for a software company on IT transport/logistics projects. Strategic thinking with attention to detail. Proficiency with a range of modelling and analysis techniques and acceptance criteria – Business Requirements Documents, user cases, wireframes, process flow diagrams, data dictionaries, entity‑relationship diagrams and technical specifications. Ability to effectively communicate, engage and build consensus with senior stakeholders, technical and non‑technical audiences. Ability and confidence to navigate conflicting priorities and negotiate outcomes; challenge existing processes to find better solutions; take a holistic view, connecting projects to the overall organisational strategy. Build relationships and trust through a strong understanding of customer needs and user experience. Deep knowledge of technology/SaaS and the transport/post/logistics industries. Analytical thinker with the ability to investigate, break down complex problems, evaluate data, identify patterns, risks and opportunities. Confidence to question assumptions, probe, influence and find creative solutions to complex business issues. Ensure requirements are accurate, complete and consistent. Comfortable with systems, data, system integration and technology and understand how software and processes fit together. Skilled at eliciting information through active listening at interviews, workshops and observations. Understand customer constraints and translate business needs into operational requirements documented in technical specifications. Facilitate decisions and secure buy‑in from stakeholders. Prioritise effectively and make data‑driven decisions.
