Job Description

We are looking for a Product Owner – Marketing Digital to join our Group Technology team in Milton Keynes. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a cutting-edge, AI enabled digital experience for our customers. You will lead product discovery to define the MVP and the quickest route to product/market fit. You will be collaborating with marketing teams, engineering and 3rd parties to bring this product to life from the ground up.

We offer a hybrid working arrangement with 2 days per week in our office in Milton Keynes. This role includes also regular travel to our London offices.

Key responsibilities:

Conduct market analysis, user research and work closely with the marketing team to identify customer needs, market opportunities, and competitive landscape

Monitor and stay abreast of new technologies such as AI to inform product vision and lead the discussions with senior stakeholders

Lead the definition of the product strategy, aligning with business objectives to improve our web estate ROI

Analyse data and engage with customers to gather feedback, validate ideas, and ensure product alignment with customer needs and business objectives

Gather and document epics, features and user stories and prioritize the backlog based on user feedback, business value, and resource availability

Develop and maintain an outcome-based product roadmap and actively contribute to business cases for resourcing and tools

Lead and inspire a cross-functional team of engineering, design, and stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle

Collaborate with 3rd party, marketing and other business teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product performance

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Test, learn and iterate fast to prove the viability of the service as quickly and as cheaply as possible

Facilitate product demos and user acceptance testing activities

Support various agile ceremonies, such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives

Experience and Skills Required:

Preferably educated to graduate level with a bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field

Proven experience working as a product manager or similar role

Proven experience in digital marketing strategies and tools (CMS, SEO/AEO/GEO, analytics, AB testing, personalization, automation, ecommerce)

Experience building products from 0 to 1 and proving market-fit rapidly

Experience helping a business successfully adopt AI and other modern digital technologies

Experience working with Designers on product discovery

Experience in Property or Financial services

Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product management practices

Knowledge of agile planning tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
