HOURS: Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in one of our office hubs mentioned above

Join our forward-thinking Consumer Lending team as we move towards a data-driven future. We are seeking a Data Design Engineer to support our data transformation initiatives and develop a modern data platform powered by consumer data products.

As a Product Owner in our Consumer Lending team, you'll lead the transformation of our customer service through data-driven solutions, bringing your technical expertise and leadership to a fast-paced environment. Your work will directly impact our success, helping us exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the product backlog for data initiatives, aligning with strategic goals and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to define, prioritize, and achieve product goals.
• Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Lead sprint planning and backlog refinement to ensure timely delivery.
• Represent the voice of the customer and business, balancing technical and commercial needs.
• Report on delivery progress, risks, and dependencies across squads.
• Coordinate the implementation of product features and improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, preferably in a data-rich environment.
• Understanding of data engineering concepts, including pipelines, cloud platforms (GCP, Hadoop, Spark), and data governance.
• Experience in agile delivery, managing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience working with cross-functional squads including data designers, engineers, and customer journey managers.
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment.

Desirable

• Knowledge of Consumer Lending products and regulations.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and data visualization tools.
