The Opportunity

As Product Manager, you will define product direction, shape the roadmap, and work closely with R&D, production, marketing and global sales teams to deliver market-leading solutions. You’ll combine technical credibility with commercial insight—taking ideas from concept to launch and ensuring products meet customer expectations and commercial targets.

This is a genuinely cross-functional and influential role with regular customer interaction and ownership of a high-profile product line.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead full product lifecycle strategy including research, competitive analysis, roadmap creation and product launch.
  • Translate strategy into clear product requirements for engineering and prototype development.
  • Develop high-level business cases, use cases, technical specs and ROI models.
  • Use market data to guide sales strategy, product positioning and communications.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, QA, production, sales and marketing on all phases of development.
  • Conduct hands-on demonstrations and measurements at customer sites; analyse data and present findings.
  • Create technical product documentation, marketing collateral and application content.

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience in precision engineering, alignment/level systems, metrology or high-tech instrumentation.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and technical product usability.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Customer-facing experience and ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Willingness to travel internationally

Why Join?

  • Shape a strategically significant product line with global impact.
  • Work with world-class engineers and technical teams.
  • Be part of a forward-thinking organisation investing heavily in innovation.
  • Opportunities for progression and international exposure.

If you're passionate about developing high-performance products and want to step into a highly visible role within a cutting-edge engineering business, I’d welcome a confidential conversation.
