We're seeking a strategic, user-centric Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of digital financial products with a strong emphasis on user experience (UX). In this role, you'll work at the intersection of financial services, technology, and design-championing the needs of our customers while balancing business goals and compliance requirements.

THIS ROLE:

As a key member of the Product team, you'll collaborate with UX/UI designers, engineers, data analysts, marketers, and compliance teams to deliver seamless, intuitive, and high-performing experiences across our digital platforms.

This is a unique opportunity to work on innovative products and services that will transform financial markets. DMI (Digital Markets Infrastructure) is an ambitious project: large-scale, complex and uses a range of blockchain architecture patterns, with numerous collaborators (internal and external) and use cases. The work is focused on solving customer problems using new technologies, including the tokenisation of financial instruments, i.e. as digital assets.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and implementing product development for a suite of new infrastructure solutions and capabilities, as well as contributing to the development of LSEG's brand and ecosystem in Digital Assets. We seek candidates with an interest in the financial markets with experience of working on large projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across Capital Markets, Post-Trade, and Data & Analytics, as well as relevant functions, including Sales and Account Management, Strategy, and Technology to develop and innovative and market-leading products for our clients.

Role Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Vision: Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for user-facing financial services experiences, with a strong focus on ease of use, accessibility, and trust.
• User-Centered Design Leadership: Translate customer insights, usability testing, and behavioral data into product features that delight users while meeting regulatory requirements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Design, Engineering, Compliance, and Marketing to deliver best-in-class financial tools and services.
• Feature Development: Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle - from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and post-release optimization.
• Performance Tracking: Establish critical metrics for user experience and product success. Use data analytics and customer feedback to iterate and improve product offerings.
• Regulatory Compliance: Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure all user experiences are aligned with financial regulations and data privacy standards.
• Market Awareness: Stay ahead of fintech and UX trends, finding opportunities to innovate and differentiate our product offerings in a competitive market.

Candidate Profile

• Product management experience, ideally in a B2B UX focused role
• Experience of financial markets. Ideally experience of funds or fixed income would be advantageous.
• Extensive professional experience in product design & development
• Delivery focused: Ability to work with cross functional teams to deliver high quality products that deliver tangible value to users on time and on budget
• Data driven: Ability to use data to inform product decisions, prioritise features and measure success
• Awareness: Commercial awareness and knowledge of financial services, financial markets and market structure, as well as the unique challenges faced by regulated players in the financial sector is desirable
• Communication: Excellent communicator who can interact with product teams, architecture, engineering teams, QA testers and UX designers
• Vision and creativity: Ability to foresee roadblocks, conceive intelligent solutions and contribute innovative ideas, as well as handle change and ambiguity successfully and confidently in consultation with the relevant parties.
• Innovation: An interest in new technology and the ability to conceptualise and work with early-stage ideas
• Leadership: Ability to lead ownership of deliverables and work with colleagues across the business to progress and achieve the relevant goals to ensure development, deployment & delivery is successful

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise shaping product & operational design, business requirements capture, technical requirements creation as well as established product methodology
• Strong experience leading product design as well as agile delivery & execution, and understanding of the product development life cycle and agile processes
• Experience with Jira and other project management tools
• Experience with requirements gathering and analysis techniques
• Experience with technical writing and documentation
• Experience working in financial services is desirable
