About The Role:
This Product Engineer role is an excellent opportunity to build a career in precision measurement and calibration. You will play a vital role in ensuring equipment accuracy, reliability, and compliance, while gaining hands-on experience across the full calibration lifecycle for a wide range of measurement parameters.
You will be responsible for setting up and operating calibration equipment, performing measurements, analysing results, and supporting wider instrumentation sales and hire operations. The role involves using data analysis, documentation, and working to industry standards such as ISO/IEC 17025.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence & Efficiency:
Deliver and optimise a wide range of services with accuracy and speed.
Validate procedures for new/existing products, ensuring compliance.
Diagnose faults, report findings, and implement improvements.
Manage resources (tools, equipment, materials) effectively.
Drive initiatives to enhance service delivery while ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards.
Technical Expertise & Communication:
Act as a go-to resource for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Provide technical guidance, coaching, and training across teams.
Respond to enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
About you:
Essential Skills & Experience:
Engineering Degree (Electrical, Mechanical or Aerospace).
Practical hands-on approach with good problem-solving & diagnostic skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Critical thinking skills to assess situations and make sound decisions.
Awareness of industry standards such as ISO/IEC 17025.
Experience using technical equipment or software tools.
