Salary: circa £16.00 per hour on a fixed term contract (freelance day rate negotiable)

We’re looking for a Product Developer with licensed merchandise experience to join our team on a flexible contract. If you're technically strong, highly organised, and passionate about developing quality apparel from concept to production — we want to hear from you.


What you will do:

• Manage development from concept through to bulk production

• Create detailed Tech Packs and manage technical critical paths

• Approve lab dips, fabrics, prints, trims, and strike-offs in line with timelines

• Conduct sample fits, provide technical feedback, and lead pre-production meetings

• Ensure all products meet quality, safety, and licensor compliance standards

• Coordinate closely with factories, in-country offices, and licensors

• Maintain AQL reports, testing documentation, and clear development records


What you will bring:

·        • Licensed merchandise experience is required

·        • Previous experience as a Garment Technologist or Product Developer

·        • Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, and print/application techniques

·        • Understanding of UK/EU safety standards for children’s wear

·        • Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills

·        • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

·        • Degree-level qualification or equivalent in Fashion, Textiles, or Product Development
