ROLE- Product Design Engineer

LOCATION- Caerphilly

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £28,000 - £32,000, dependent on experience

My client is a specialist product designer and manufacturer. They are looking for a Product Design Engineer to join their team in Caerphilly on a permanent basis.

The Product Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Design, Engineering or similar Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar Design / CAD Operation position Experienced working with metal, wood and extruded materials Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment Be proficient using 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks etc. Experience working with FEA Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Proficient using MS Office Excellent organisational skills and time management skills
