Product Controller (Senior Associate / VP)Fixed Term Contract: 6-12 months (possibility to become permanent)London - Hybrid£90k-£110kIm currently working with a high-performing, global capital markets firm looking to hire a Senior Associate/VP-level Product Controller to join their finance team.This is a broad, front-office aligned role with exposure across trading activities and investment portfolios, offering strong commercial visibility and the opportunity to influence decision-making.Key responsibilities will include:Production and analysis of daily P&L and balance sheet reportingInvestigation and resolution of breaks between front-office and finance systemsBuilding strong relationships with Trading and Operations teamsSupporting statutory audits across trading and investment portfoliosPartnering with Treasury on capital allocation across business linesDeveloping and monitoring ROCE metrics, identifying key drivers and performance trendsEnhancing reporting frameworks to deliver actionable insights to senior stakeholdersContributing to month-end close and wider finance processesGaining a deep understanding of products, trading strategies, and full trade lifecycleDesigning and implementing automated controls and process improvementsDriving data quality initiatives and operational efficienciesSupporting internal and external financial reporting requirementsThe ideal candidate will have:ACA / ACCA / CFA qualificationStrong product control experience within a capital markets environmentSolid understanding of derivatives / optionsProven experience in process improvement, automation, or change initiativesStrong analytical mindset with high attention to detailCommercial awareness with the ability to partner effectively with front officeExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsA collaborative, team-oriented approachThis is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a highly visible role, working closely with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.JBRP1_UKTJ
