As demand continues to accelerate, they are expanding their Quality function and seeking a skilled Product Assurance Engineer to ensure every component delivered meets the highest space grade standards.
What You Will Do
In this hands on and detail focused role, you will be embedded across integrated project teams with exposure to suppliers, customers and mission critical hardware. You will be responsible for assuring quality throughout the full product lifecycle, from design and manufacturing to testing and final data pack delivery.
Your work will include:
Participating in key project reviews such as MRR, TRR, MPCB and DRB
Developing and maintaining product assurance documentation aligned with ECSS requirements
Ensuring requirements are correctly interpreted and flowed down to suppliers
Monitoring hardware during build and test phases
Reviewing supplier documentation and data packs
Contributing to EIDPs and supporting resolution of RIDs
Supporting non conformance management and corrective action processes
Engaging in internal and supplier audits to drive continuous improvement
Capturing lessons learned that elevate programme quality
What You Bring
Essential:
HND or Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
Experience in Quality or Product Assurance within aerospace, defence or a regulated sector
Understanding of AS9100 and ISO9001
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
Excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail
Desirable:
Experience working with ECSS standards
Exposure to EIDP compilation, auditing or product qualification
Familiarity with improvement tools such as 8D, FMEA or Ishikawa
Understanding of electronic or electromechanical components
Auditing qualifications are an advantage
