The Role
As Procurement Supply Manager, you will work closely with the client, project, and onsite teams to manage end-to-end procurement activities, including equipment, subcontractors, and services. Daily responsibilities include defining procurement strategies, leading negotiations, managing supplier relationships, and overseeing tender processes to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of all project procurement needs. You will also be responsible for risk management, contract formation, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Proven track record in a project procurement role, ideally within the engineering, chemical, or energy industries. Extensive knowledge of procurement systems and contract frameworks, with familiarity of NEC Suite beneficial. Expert understanding of plant, equipment management, and purchasing processes. Demonstrable ability to lead negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and engage senior clients effectively. Membership of CIPS or equivalent professional body. Experience with change management and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong literacy and numeracy skills supported by relevant qualifications.
