This is a requiring end-to-end ownership, strong execution skills, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-growing global tech company. About The Role You will manage both strategic initiatives and day-to-day procurement needs, working closely with multiple stakeholders across the business, including Legal, Finance, HR, IT, Security, and Operations. Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end indirect procurement processes, from intake through negotiation, contracting, and execution Lead sourcing, supplier selection, negotiations, and renewals for indirect categories (technology procurement is a strong advantage) Partner closely with Legal, Finance, HR, IT, Security, and Operations to support business needs and ensure compliance Manage suppliers and commercial relationships, including pricing, SLAs, and performance Support global procurement initiatives and align local activities with global strategy Handle both large, complex projects and smaller tactical requests with the same level of ownership and accountability Track spend, savings, and contracts using Excel and internal procurement tools Ensure procurement processes are efficient, well-organised, and business-oriented Act as a trusted business partner with a strong service mindset and bias to action Ensure alignment with budgetary controls Requirements 4–5 years of experience in indirect procurement Experience in technology procurement – an advantage Previous experience working in global companies – an advantage Strong Excel skills – must Proven ability to work independently and manage priorities end-to-end Highly organized, detail-oriented, and structured Assertive, confident negotiator with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills Comfortable working cross-functionally with senior and junior stakeholders Hands-on, pragmatic, and willing to "roll up sleeves" Social Title Procurement Specialist (UK) Social Description is looking for a hands-on Procurement Specialist to own indirect procurement activities in the UK and support global needs.
