Job Description
Cedar are supporting a Private Sector organisation, based in Central London, who are looking to hire a Procurement Specialist. This is a rare opportunity to join a developing procurement function where you won't just manage procurement processes - you'll help build it. Perfect for an ambitious, commercially minded procurement professional looking to elevate their career and make a visible difference. This is a permanent job opportunity with a salary range of £50,000 up to £60,000 per annum on offer plus benefits which include a c15% bonus and a range of other perks. This role will operate on a hybrid working basis with the expectation to be on-site 3 days per week - this may flex on occasion depending on requirements.
Working closely with Category Managers and the Head of Procurement you will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, and you will play a key role in shaping sourcing strategy, strengthening supplier relationships, and driving data-led procurement decisions. This role offers genuine exposure, autonomy, and the chance to influence how procurement delivers value across the organisation. You will be responsible for leading c£100K plus sourcing projects and RFx processes end to end as well as building and maintaining cost models, market intelligence, and spend analytics datasets. You will also be tasked with contributing to developing templates, documentation, and scalable procurement processes as well as producing insightful procurement performance reports (both regular and ad hoc).
Candidates applying MUST HAVE:
c5 years experience working in a similar role in Procurement, Commercial and/or Sourcing understanding of sourcing and procurement best practice strong stakeholder management skills ability and confidence to work individually to analyse and interpret data
