Are you an experienced Procurement Manager? Do you have previous railway industry experience?

If so, TXM Recruit are recruiting for an experienced Procurement Project Manager located in Birmingham on a 6-month contract basis payingbetween £500 - £600 per day (outside IR35)This is to support a rail company during a key demobilization project.

Key Responsibilities: Support the procurement department in contract negotiations and associated procurement activity throughout the demobilization and handover period. There are a large number of contracts that will need to be reviewed, amending and extending. Hold suppliers accountable to support the delivery of their contractual agreements through clear and robust contract management. Manage the tender process timeline, key milestones, and communications with the bidders via the tender portal.

Key Skills & Experience: Good understanding of the UK rail industry and the associated relationships and contracts. Procurement experience will be ideal as you will act as the main engagement with the wider procurement team. Previous experience of working with the DfT would be a benefit.
