Job Title: Procurement Officer

My client is a UK-based power generation company, providing energy to the National Grid, part of the UK's pathway to Net Zero they currently have 3GW of operational capacity in the UK.

An opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Officer to join the commercial team based in Northeast Lincolnshire. The successful candidate will have proven procurement experience and will work with the business to ensure that value is maximised from third party contracts, whilst minimising risk and operating in a framework of policies and processes. The role works closely with other members of the Procurement team, internal stakeholders and is a key interface between the power business and external third parties.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the key responsibilities and duties include:
