Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by a leading public sector client to recruit for a Procurement Officer.
Main purpose of the job
Ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations. Develop working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Manage pre and post tender activities. Build and maintain a database of local and regional suppliers.
Job Requirements
High level understanding of Public Sector procurement regulations Previous experience managing a team CIPS qualification or working towards Participate in team briefings Maintain working relationships with key personnel
