About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for large-scale infrastructure projects. You will manage complex procurement packages ranging from £5M to £10M, ensuring compliance with UK procurement regulations and delivering value for money outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver operational procurement for designated packages, ensuring alignment with governance and assurance processes.
  • Develop and manage tender documentation, evaluation processes, and contract award activities.
  • Ensure compliance with UK and EU procurement legislation and best practice standards.
  • Provide commercial advice and support across the organisation, including stakeholder engagement and reporting.
  • Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all procurement activities.


Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong analytical and commercial skills with experience in compiling tender and commercial documents.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders in complex environments.
  • Knowledge of procurement legislation and experience with frameworks and OJEU processes is preferred.
  • Experience in procuring large-scale construction or rail systems projects.
  • Membership or progression towards MCIPS or MRICS is desirable.
